About Us:

The Role:

The Accounts Payable Officer forms part of the overall finance team within Australian Childhood Foundation. The position will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records and the timely processing of accounts payable tasks.

As an important team member, the Accounts Payable officer will support the General Manager of Finance, assist the team to day-to-day processes in order to meet national financial requirements of the Foundation.

This initial part time role of 3 days per week will be an ongoing role with access to hybrid working arrangements.

About You - Key Selection Criteria:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in accounts payable.
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite including Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a wider team.
  • Creative problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent time management skills, including capacity to prioritize workload and meeting deadlines.
  • A collaborative and positive working style and an ability to collaborate with multiple teams where necessary.
  • Ability to deal with sometimes difficult staff members in obtaining compliance with credit card deadlines.
  • A current Working with Children Check.
