The Australian Childhood Foundation (ACF) is a respected leader in developing and providing high-quality learning opportunities and creating innovative tools and resources to support children, young people, carers and families. As a Registered Training Organisation, The Foundation delivers a diverse array of blended learning methods, offering accredited and unaccredited training programs, including online, self-paced courses, webinars, virtual classrooms, train-the-trainer sessions, and customised in-person training, all aimed at supporting the wellbeing of children, young people, and their families and carers.
The Centre for Excellence in Therapeutic Care (CETC) is at the forefront of harnessing knowledge that shapes the care provided to children and young people in out-of-home care and youth justice settings. At ACF, we are committed to bridging the gap between theory, practice wisdom, and lived experience, ensuring that our learning and training resonate with the real-world challenges faced by practitioners, carers, and the individuals they support. Our audience spans across various sectors, including child and family welfare, youth justice, family violence, education, and health. Across both CETC and ACF's professional education programs, we employ contemporary learning solutions to empower professionals and carers in delivering high-quality care and support to children, young people, their families, and significant relationships.
The Learning Experience Designer will assist with shaping the digital learning landscape for ACF. The position will form a part of the broader virtual team that will be responsible for spearheading the development of various digital learning courses, programs, tools, and products aimed at improving outcomes for children and young people, their carers, families, and significant others.
The successful applicant will work as part of a production team lead by the Senior Manager Digital Experience and Learning Design, while collaborating closely with external videographers and various stakeholders, including subject matter experts, to create innovative digital learning and practice tools using state of the art technologies.
This position is a hybrid role, with time in the Abbotsford office required regularly for meetings and joint work.
