The Foundation is a non-profit, non-government organisation that has made substantial achievements in the prevention of child abuse through education, advocacy, research, and specialised therapeutic services to abused children and their family members.

This is achieved through the delivery of clinical services, professional training and secondary consultation programs built on up-to-date evidence, and theoretical frameworks, including the neurobiology of trauma, attachment, and child development.

About the Program

A key objective of these programs is to engage and support professionals to lead their communities in practice that effectively protect children and resource their recovery from trauma. The greater the engagement by professionals with the Foundation, the greater the opportunity to influence practice.

About the Role

The Marketing and Communications Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination and implementation of a variety of campaigns and business-as-usual communications and collateral across the Foundation. The Coordinator will assist the Marketing Team Leader and team in the development of communications and marketing programs with the ultimate aim of building brand awareness, to increase and diversify the Foundation's service streams and ensure clarity and consistency in communications for all program areas.

The key areas of focus will be graphic design, content creation, management of small projects, website content updates, eDM management, Copywriting, and stakeholder relationship management.

About You

Essential Skills:

  • An appropriate qualification or relevant experience suited to Marketing or related disciplines
  • Strong organisational and project management skills
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop reports and presentations
  • Knowledge of digital marketing including search engine optimisation, website design, optimising social media presence
  • Mid-weight graphic design skills, utilising software like Canva
  • Knowledge and experience with Salesforce or similar CRM
  • A proactive self-starter who thrives on finding innovative methods to reach a variety of audiences
  • A current and valid Working with Children Check and National Police Records Clearance

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous employment in the not-for-profit sector
  • Experience in the management of WordPress or other CRM.
  • Experience with Pardot and Salesforce Not for profit success pack, and community cloud
  • 1-3 years experience in a Marketing (or similar) role.
  • Experience delivering high quality copy, website edits, content, design, video and eDM work with a short turn around with minimal direction
  • Experience working with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (preferred but not essential)
  • Experience developing engaging and creative content and supporting the management of multiple social media platforms
  • Advanced MS Office Suite skills
  • High level of attention to detail
