Are you eager to provide support to children and young people who have experienced trauma? Join our dedicated team at the Australian Childhood Foundation (ACF) for an impactful 12-month part-time position (0.8 EFT). As a Social Worker/Psychologist/Counsellor, you'll play a crucial role in our Pathways to Resilience Program, offering essential outreach support to children and young people affected by family violence.
This is an outreach role that provides intensive therapeutic support to children and young people residing in the Southern region of Melbourne. Outreach counselling sessions often occur in counselling rooms, school spaces to occasional home environments. Your role will be diverse and rewarding. You'll provide counselling and group programs tailored to address the impacts of family violence, working closely with young people, their parents/carers, and professionals. You will work within a supportive and highly skilled team of specialists, with a strong focus on team development and collaboration.
Location: Whilst this position is primarily outreach, our office is nestled in the leafy areas of Mitcham, offering a modern workspace close to cafes and parks, providing a vibrant environment to work and unwind.
