THE ROLE

As the Campaign Specialist, your role is the day-to-day planning, execution, optimisation and reporting of campaigns. You’ll execute campaigns by strategic planning and ensuring all key deliverables are met and campaign tactics are fully delivered. You’ll help design and build strategic customer journeys and flows through marketing automation software.

Also, collaborate with a variety of stakeholders and guide and direct external agencies to identify, prioritise, and implement opportunities to accelerate customer engagement and retention. You’ll use data analysis and insights to optimise campaign performance, identify growth opportunities and provide recommendations to drive client acquisition. And, monitor, analyse and report data to determine the success or failure of a marketing and/or promotional campaign.

  • Proactive and can do: You’re an enthusiastic and motivated self-starter with a can-do approach. Although you thrive in a team environment, you can work independently when needed in order to achieve set goals.
  • A fast learner: You have an incredible ability to adapt to change and challenges whilst keeping your cool.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS…

Essential:

  • 5-7 years’ experience in marketing and/or communications.
  • A tertiary qualification in marketing, communications or related field.
  • A strategic thinker and expert implementer across a range of marketing and communications channels.
  • Knowledge and strong experience in executing via digital marketing channels including email marketing and automation, digital advertising, social media, best practice web UX and SEO. You have a user-focused and digital-first mindset.
  • Experience in project management and excellent organisational skills, with high competency managing various competing project priorities.
  • Experience monitoring and evaluating marketing activities against key metrics and creating reports and recommendations based on results.
  • Experience working with and liaising with external agencies, various creative professionals including designers, photographers and videographers.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience using CRM Systems.
  • Strong relationship-building and maintaining skills.
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills.

Desirable:

  • Experience in Agile project methodology, with excellent organisational skills and competency to multi-task on multiple projects at once.
  • Comfortable interacting as part of a team or autonomously as required.
  • Experience working in the Not-for-Profit sector.
  • Experience working with Indigenous or other non-dominant cultural communities.
