We’re looking for an Art Gallery Curator Mentor who can live and volunteer for 6 months in the Solomon Islands.
The National Art Gallery is responsible for the development of the creative industries of the country, managing the National Art Gallery, the craft market centre and promoting artists. The Gallery implements activities such as hosting art exhibitions, establishing art collections, organising school visits to the gallery, as well as art classes, workshops and demonstrations.
This assignment will support with technical assistance in the field of Curating. There is a lack of qualified personnel in the country, and the gallery would benefit from some guidance and technical support to help strengthen the National Art Gallery institution.
