About the assignment

We’re seeking an Journal Editor (BRIN Conservation) who can volunteer remotely for six months. Join the Australian Volunteers Program to contribute to sustainable development across Indonesia.

About the Partner Organisation: 

Research Center of Conservation of Marine and Inland Water Resources have several assignments to conduct research and innovation in conserving marine and aquatic resources to improve the nation's competitiveness. With a research focus on the field of conservation and restoration of resources and marine and inland water ecosystems, captive breeding and stock enhancement of threatened fish, and genetic conservation.

About the Position: 

  • You’ll need to to be responsible for providing valuable assistance in proofreading works intended for publication in highly esteemed international journal publications as a Journal Editor.
  • You will need to build local staff capacity in proofreading the manuscripts for each journal.
  • You’ll be incredibly able to contribute to the Research Centre in Indonesia.

Allowance: $131

Allowance figure is per month, allowance figures are $131 (full-time), $79 (part-time).

Special requirements

  • The Partner Organization's preference for this role is full-time (more than 25 hours per week).
  • Federal Police check must be completed during the application.
  • Video response interview must be completed as part of this application.
