We’re looking for a Legal Drafting Advisor who can live and volunteer for 12 months in Fiji.
This assignment seeks to further enhance and develop legal officers' existing legal drafting skills to draft and build in-house technical drafting capacity for the long term.
To be considered for this role, you’ll need a tertiary qualifications in law and at least 12 years experience in a common law jurisdiction
You will be working alongside Fiji legal officers of the Commission.
The Fiji Law Reform Commission (Commission) is a statutory body established in 1979. The Commission will "take and keep under review the laws applicable in Fiji with a view to their systematic development and reform including in particular: the codification of such law; elimination of anomalies; repeal of obsolete and unnecessary enactments; making of new laws; adoption of new or more effective and economical methods for the administration of the law and generally the simplification, improvement and modernisation of the law."
