We’re looking for a Senior Government Policy Analyst who can live and volunteer in the Republic of the Marshall Islands for 24 months. This assignment seeks to support the team with government policy analysis.
The Office of the Chief Secretary (OCS), based in Majuro, RMI, is the head of the public service and the chief administrative and advisory office of RMI. The Chief Secretary is responsible to the Cabinet for the general direction of the work of all Departments and offices of the government. The OCS vision is to lead a trusted and responsive public service, committed to exceptional policy advice for the government.
While the Office of Economics, Planning, Policy and Statistics is responsible for collecting, analysing and producing statistical reports for the Government, the OCS, also assists in the development of policy. The office is wishing to gain the assistance of a volunteer to support particularly policy analysis as well as working with the team to develop proposals, strategies, best practices, transparent systems, processes, and work plans to enhance the Public Service.
