We’re looking for a Veterinary Support and Training Specialist who can live and volunteer for 12 months in Fiji.
This assignment seeks to improve animal health and productivity through enhanced veterinary services and promote the Ministry's Brucellosis and Tuberculosis Eradication Campaign.
To be considered for this role, you’ll need Bachelor of Veterinary Science and a minimum 6 years experience in veterinary practice.
As a volunteer, you will support the development and implementation of a comprehensive training program for meat inspectors, ensuring compliance with national and international standards.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Waterways, located in Suva Fiji focuses on promotion of food security, rural livelihoods and economic growth through various initiatives collaborations. One of the key areas is to improve veterinary services to ensure animal health and food safety, supporting both local farming communities and public health infrastructure.
