We’re looking for a Vocational Education and Training Scholar (TVET) who can live and volunteer in Nepal and can complete a hybrid role both remotely (volunteering from home, online) and in country for 12 months. About the Partner Organisation: 

Kathmandu University (KU) is an autonomous, self-funded public institution and includes seven schools, Kathmandu University of Education (KUSOED) is one of them. KUSOED is aiming to support and enhance careers in the educational development sector in Nepal. This role will continue to improve the TVET by preparing educators, leaders, and researchers with an international contribution. This is a hybrid assignment that will include a 3 month remote (volunteering from home) assignment, then an in country assignment for 6 months, then competing a remote assignment (volunteering from home) for 3 months for the remainder of the assignment.

About the Position: 

• You’ll be mentoring students in their research assignments, offering online/in person lectures on a range of pedagogical courses, and supporting the team in developing research grant proposals. 
• You’ll need a degree in TVET (or related field) with a proficiency in Professional English (speaking and writing).
• You’ll gain an opportunity to contribute to the process of internationalising the MTVET program by exchanging global knowledge.
