AVI implements the Australian Volunteers Program on behalf of the Australian Government (DFAT). The Australian Volunteers Program is a ten-year program with a contract value of up to $264 million. It supports skilled Australian volunteers to work alongside organisations to sustainably support capacity development of people, organisations and communities in 25 countries across the Pacific, Asia and Africa.
The Finance Manager is responsible for managing the budget and forecasting for the Australian Volunteers Program. It is responsible for maintaining a high standard of accountability and transparency of the financial management of the program including regular reporting both internally and externally with DFAT.
