We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Junior Compliance and Operational Support Officer to join our National Office in Granville, NSW. This junior-level position will provide the opportunity to develop key skills while contributing to the effective operation of the union’s compliance and administrative functions.
About the Role
This position offers initial training to equip you with the skills needed to provide essential support for operations and compliance activities within the union. As you grow in the role, there will be opportunities to expand into other key functions within the National Office. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Compliance Monitoring: Assisting the Compliance Officer in ensuring the union's activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of compliance actions, membership details, and operational data.
- Legal Administrative Support Assisting the Legal team with legal administrative duties and filing.
- Administrative Support: Performing a range of administrative duties such as answering phone calls, responding to external inquiries, and drafting standard written communications.
- Data Management: Updating and maintaining union databases, including spreadsheets and compliance records.
- Document Preparation: Assisting in the preparation of compliance, legal and operational reports, including basic financial summaries.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Familiarity with Word, Excel, and Outlook for data management and document preparation.
