We are looking to fill a Certificate III role that will work 3 days.

You will be working with two 3 year old groups which each attend 11 hours of kindergarten across two days.

The role includes co planning per group.

This is a total of 24.5 paid hours per week.

The days and hours are as follows, commencing in 2025:

• Monday 8am - 4.30pm.
• Tuesdays 8am - 5pm (includes co planning).
• Wednesdays 8.30am - 5pm.

The Service

Balit Community Kindergarten (BCK) is committed to the safety and wellbeing of all children and has been operating in Northcote for over 70 years and is renowned within the community. Places are keenly sought after as we offer funded three and four year old kinder programs in a welcoming and stimulating learning environment, giving children and families a positive first experience of education. BCK also offers a highly regarded Bush Kinder program for our 4 year old enrolments.

The Position

Balit Community Kindergarten is offering an opportunity for an energetic, enthusiastic and passionate Certificate III Qualified Educator to join our team on a part time basis. We are looking for someone who can contribute to a stimulating program for our children, is willing to build their skills, share their knowledge and grow with their team.

Candidates must have

• Certificate III of Early Childhood Education or Equivalent (as assessed by ACECQA)
• Current Working with Children Check
• Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate, including CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma management
• The right to work in Australia
• The appropriate candidates will also be familiar with the Victorian Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Framework.
