About the role:

As the Project Manager for Identity, you will spearhead a groundbreaking initiative to unify identities, Microsoft tenants, and Active Directory across three leading organisations. Collaborating with top-tier IT teams, you will drive technical innovation and ensure seamless integration of systems impacting over 12,800 users. You'll lead the consolidation of the three organisations into a single Entra ID/Microsoft 365 tenant, placing you at the forefront of our digital transformation journey.

In this role, you will not only manage the consolidation of Microsoft tenants but also plan for the future integration of on-premise Active Directory environments. Your expertise will be crucial in coordinating technical changes for applications reliant on Single Sign-On (SSO), leveraging cutting-edge automation tools to streamline processes and reduce manual intervention.

You will be the linchpin between IT management at BaptCare, BaptistCare, and Baptist Care SA, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities and delivering a user-centric change management strategy. Your leadership will guide the project through its lifecycle, from risk assessment and vendor coordination to budget management and stakeholder communication.

About you:

To be considered, you will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience in project management, with a strong focus on IT infrastructure, identity management, or system integration projects.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale identity consolidation projects or similar IT initiatives, preferably involving Azure Entra/M365 environments.
• Demonstrated success in coordinating technical changes for Single Sign-On (SSO) systems, including updates to user identifiers (e.g., UPNs, email addresses).
• Strong track record of vendor management, including coordinating third-party deliverables and ensuring alignment with project requirements.
• A valid Working with Children’s Check or willingness to obtain one.
• A genuine alignment to our vision, purpose and values.
• A valid drivers license and commitment to occasional inter-state travel.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2 Practitioner, or equivalent certification.
• Experience using Quest or similar tools for identity migration and automation.
• Familiarity with on-premise Active Directory environments and their integration with Azure Entra/M365.
• Knowledge of IT governance frameworks, such as ITIL or COBIT, and their application in managing IT projects.
• Experience in change management certifications, such as PROSCI, or equivalent frameworks.
