About the role

As a Site Leader you will provide team leadership and oversight for the practice staff of the site which may include casework, counselling, chaplaincy, food support and specialist group programs to individuals, couples, children, and families through collaborative practices that are trauma-informed and evidence-based.

Ensure sustainable high quality service delivery and effective team and individual management and risk management, stakeholder engagement and the identification of appropriate growth opportunities. Provide the highest possible standard of support and clinical casework to clients within a trauma informed care framework.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in counselling/casework/case management and group facilitation and/or management-related fields
  • Extensive experience in casework, case management or counselling role with women, children and young people who have experienced Domestic and Family Violence
  • Knowledge and experience in trauma informed practices
  • Able to identify and develop cooperative and effective relationships with key decision makers/personnel to achieve multi-team or functional goals
  • Demonstrated team leadership and teamwork skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work with individuals from diverse cultural and language backgrounds
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate an understanding and appreciation of BaptistCare’s Christian identity and promote the organisation’s values through interactions at work
  • Strong computer skills and experience using a client management system
  • Demonstrated problem solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Demonstrated ability to provide leadership in articulating BaptistCare’s purpose and values in management team development skills
  • Demonstrates an integrated response to service delivery
  • Current NSW Drivers License
  • Hold a current Working with Children Check
