The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra) works in partnership with 15 National Boards to implement the National Registration and Accreditation Scheme for Australia’s 900,000+ registered health practitioners.
We are seeking applications for a Project Support Officer to join our Strategy and Policy team. The role will suit someone who thrives in a dynamic and fluid environment, where no day looks the same, who can manage competing priorities.
The role will provide confidential project and administrative support to the NSW State Manager as well as assisting with Strategy, Policy and Engagement projects as required. Some of the duties of the Project and Support Officer include conducting research, drafting correspondence and briefing notes, providing secretariat support including taking minutes, scheduling meetings, coordinating aspects of projects, and working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to contribute to delivering projects.
Ahpra requires all employees to comply with Ahpra policies, including our flexible working policy.
This is a full time, fixed term position (6 months with possible extension) located in our Sydney office. The Sydney office is a state-of-the-art office that is centrally located in the CBD.
You will be a problem solver who is looking forward to joining a collaborative team that is supportive, driven and solutions-focused. You enjoy working autonomously, while understanding that teamwork and support is vital. This ensures that not only are you supported, but you support your colleagues as needed naturally.
Your project management skills are strong, and you are able to operate in an agile environment with adaptability. Your ability to conceptualise an array of information with concise and professional briefings and reports will be key to your success. When building strong working relationships with your stakeholders (internal and external) you consider multiple perspectives to determine the needs of the group – and then put these into action.
You embody our values of Respect, Integrity, Collaboration and Achievement and see these values underpin your behaviours and interactions.
