Ballarat Community Health (BCH) is searching for a passionate clinician to lead our innovative Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) and Mental Health (MH) services as part of a partnership led service delivery model - Step Thru Care.
Ballarat Community Health is a not-for-profit community health organisation that’s been creating healthy communities through the provision of accessible, affordable and quality health and wellbeing services for over 45 years. We deliver a range of primary health, social care and community-based support to meet local community needs. We have over 300 staff, with seven (7) locations across Ballarat and the Western Region. BCH is at the forefront of Step Thru Care, collaborating with Central Highlands Health Service, and Maryborough District Health. Funded by the West Vic Primary Healthcare Network (WVPHN), together, we are addressing co-occurring and independent AOD and MH support needs across western Victoria. The program enhances our established services and aligns with recommendations from the Mental Health Royal Commission.
As the AOD and MH Clinical Integration Lead, you will lead the integration of this service. Your responsibilities will include:
