  • Prepare and process payment runs
  • Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions

Month-End Reconciliations:

  • Record all routine manual journals
  • Reconcile all balance sheet accounts
  • Prepare month-end financial reports
  • Assist in the preparation of BAS and other statutory reports

General:

  • Manage the day-to-day financial operations of the organisation, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger, balance sheet, and income statement
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Assist with budget preparation and forecasting
  • Manage the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field highly regarded
  • 5+ years of experience in finance, including general bookkeeping and payroll
  • 2+ years experience with NDIS funding and claims
  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices
  • Proficiency in Xero accounting software
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Benefits

  • Competitive salary package
  • Optional salary packaging, providing tax benefits
  • Opportunity for professional development
  • Supportive and inclusive work environment
  • Chance to make a difference in the lives of people with disabilities
  • Flexible working arrangements to support work-life balance
