Established in 1987, St. George Community Transport provides a quality, affordable and appropriate transport service that meets the needs of transport disadvantaged persons who reside within the St George area.

Position Overview:

As the CEO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future growth and impact. You will collaborate with the dedicated team, stakeholders, and community partners to achieve their mission.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute the new strategic plan in line with the Board of Directors
  • Leverage extensive knowledge of the Aged Care and NDIS sectors to drive innovation and service excellence.
  • Oversee financial management, budgeting, analysis and accounting
  • Develop funding strategies including government and associated grants.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, contracts, and policies.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, families, and community partners.
  • Lead the expansion of Aged Care and NDIS services.
  • Commitment to the organisations mission and values: Safety, Respect, Integrity, Teamwork & Excellence.

Essential experience or skills:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and at least 10 years’ professional experience in a senior leadership capability.
  • An understanding of the opportunities and challenges in the current and future Aged Care environment, clinical experience would be advantageous.
  • A proven track record of developing capability and performance across teams.
  • Adept leadership, influencing, management, team building, communication, consulting, and negotiation skills with the ability to help co-create a high performing culture.
  • Action-orientated strategic thinking and planning skills with demonstrated ability to adapt when needed.
  • Strong customer focus, including an understanding and passion for human-centred operating models that span both customer and employees.
  • Strong commercial acumen with an inherent competitive nature for improvement.
  • Agility and responsiveness and being comfortable adapting quickly to changing priorities Strong analytical and interpersonal skill.
