Role Overview:

The role of Corporate Partnerships Specialist reports to the National Fundraising and Events Manager, primarily focusing on driving the National Sponsorship and Strategic Partnerships Program.

With an impressive partnerships portfolio already established, you will nurture and expand revenue by building strong multi-year agreements and grow the program further by seeking creative, aligned opportunities.

This role will require collaboration with the executive and senior leadership teams to craft compelling proposals. With a full suite of communication assets in place, you will hit the ground running and do what you do best, build lasting impactful partnerships. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and nurture a pipeline of prospects for corporate and strategic partnerships.
  • Strengthen relationships with current partners to secure increased funding and national leverage.
  • Manage the end-to-end contract process with a focus on compliance and timely reporting.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and other departments to fulfil partnership commitments and impact reporting.
  • Develop strategic plans for program expansion and growth.
  • Maintain accurate records in Salesforce CRM and deliver regular income and forecast reports.
  • Ensure all legal and compliance requirements are met for partnership agreements.

You thrive working in a cause-driven environment and demonstrate high emotional intelligence and empathy when having emotionally sensitive conversations and interactions.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Over 3 years experience in partnerships or fundraising within the non-profit sector or a relevant related field.
  • Demonstrated success in securing financial mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strategic thinking and innovative approach to achieving your targets.
  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and data management.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and fundraising best practice
  • Multi-project management & analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in contract management and acquittals.

With the role having a National reach some flexibility and occasional interstate will be required.
