About the role:

Beaumont People are proud to be partnering with Belong Blue Mountains. A locally based community and neighbourhood service organisation focused on building the strength, wellbeing, resilience, and cohesion of our growing Blue Mountains community.

The Executive Manager of Client Services and Operations plays a pivotal role in leading and managing the delivery of services within Belong Blue Mountains (BBM), including Neighbourhood Centres, Community Hubs, Targeted Early Intervention Services, Community Development & Capacity Building Programs, Aged, Chronic and Allied Health Care Services, Home Maintenance and Modification Services, Childcare Services, Targeted Youth Services, and Mental Health support services.

This position focuses on providing comprehensive quality service provision and support to our client groups and program participants, ensuring the highest standards of care are met.

In this role you will:

  • Manage the provision and delivery of a diverse range of services through BBM home, community, and site-based programs to ensure clients achieve outcomes and optimise their quality of life.
  • Provide leadership and management for permanent and casual employees, volunteers, and contractors within the organisation.
  • Ensure all funder targets and KPIs are met, recorded, and reported as per contract.
  • Ensure client services and operations meet all required external accreditation standards governing clinical programs and service delivery.
  • Identify and respond to program and service gaps and secure funding and revenue opportunities in conjunction with the Executive Leadership team.
  • Think strategically while managing teams and programs at a detailed level, including cost control, resource allocation, and performance management.
  • Utilise leadership and managerial skills with a high level of autonomy and accountability, working closely with the CEO, Board Committees, and the Executive team.
  • Participate in and update the Board on all Client Services activities and results as deemed appropriate by the CEO.

What you bring to this role:

To succeed in the role, you will be a reflective, adaptable leader with an ability to manage various service delivery streams in an efficient and organised manner, whilst maintaining a connection to the community and responding to the community needs.

You will also bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Health, Social Work, Community Services/Welfare or other relevant field.
  • Strong professional experience in the community services space, including management of interdisciplinary teams.
  • A collaborative approach across administrative, operational, and strategic levels.
  • Strategic thinking and active involvement in organisational planning.
  • A deep understanding of the community sector, demonstrated understanding of current funding models impacting the sector and service provision
  • Strong program design, implementation, and evaluation skills.
  • Proficiency in Client Relationship Management systems.
  • Commitment to maintaining high service and operational standards.
  • Proven stakeholder relationship management and grant acquisition experience.
  • Extensive program management expertise, including budgeting and reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to plan, prioritise, and provide clear direction.
  • Some understanding of working within the City of Blue Mountains LGA would be highly desirable.
  • Flexibility to work outside normal business hours as needed.
