The Role – VIC / TAS / SA Grants Program Manager

FRRR has a vacancy in our Place grant-making portfolio and is seeking an experienced manager with exceptional skills in program management, development, implementation and evaluation, and relationship and stakeholder management. As the VIC / TAS / SA Grants Program Manager, you will:

  • Lead and deliver the Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania component of the Strengthening Rural Communities grants program;
  • Build, develop and maintain strong relationships with community individuals, groups and networks, peak bodies, Local Government and Government Agency personnel;
  • Support retention and development of funding and donor partnerships to grow support to Victorian, South Australian and Tasmanian communities

Your Skills and Attributes

  • Strong project management experience with a solid track record in delivering programs on budget and on-time with high levels of stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Demonstrated capacity to develop relationships, negotiate, and work constructively with funding bodies and other stakeholders, and represent the organisation to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Ability to work autonomously and with initiative, demonstrating strong attention to detail, discretion and confidentiality.
  • Proven ability to manage complex competing priorities and meet timelines.
  • Demonstrated experience working in or with rural, regional and remote communities and understanding of remote, rural and regional issues.
