The Shepherd Centre is seeking a creative and innovative digital marketing expert who will use their expertise and experience to drive digital delivery across multichannel digital marketing campaigns. We are looking for a leader in digital marketing who will play a key role in the organisation’s ambitious digital transformation process.
About the Shepherd Centre
The Shepherd Centre is a wonderful not-for-profit whose vision is to enable children who are deaf and hearing-impaired to develop spoken language so that they can reach their full potential. The Centre offers research and evidence-based specialised programs for children with hearing loss and their families at each of their physical centres and via online therapy.
Role Summary
Responsible for the strategic development of the organisation’s marketing and communications function, this role will take on the Centre’s ‘digital first marketing approach’ to deliver integrated digital marketing campaigns that drive lead generation across a range of programs and services. Using your expertise to lead and guide on new digital trends, you will strategically develop and distribute content across a range of digital channels to deliver revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a digital and marketing communications strategy with a ‘digital first marketing approach’
- Manage 2 direct reports and a team of 5 ensuring delivery on marketing, communications and event activities across all services and business support functions
- Manage and coordinate external digital marketing and content suppliers
- Provide governance of digital communications through appropriate policy as well as provide training and support for staff in the use of a range of digital content creation platforms
- Design and deliver integrated digital marketing campaigns that drive lead generation
- Use business insights and analytics to assess, drive and measure activity
- Manage and grow the Centre’s branding and positioning
Skills & Attributes
- Proven track record in digital marketing with demonstrated success in building strategy and campaigns
- Experience in management and digital marketing across all digital channels
- Strategic and creative thinker with strong experience leading multichannel marketing campaigns with a demonstrated understanding in SEM, display advertising, social media and content marketing, and re-marketing
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex supply chain of external digital marketing suppliers
- Strong experience of website CMS management (preferable WordPress), and marketing automation systems
- Comprehensive experience in managing supporter and customer relationships
- Ability to lead and nurture a marketing and communications team
- Exceptional communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work within and as part of a dynamic and flexible team environment and with own initiative
