No to Violence is Australia’s peak body for organisations and individuals that work with men who use family violence. No to Violence operates the national Men’s Referral Service, the National Brief Intervention Services and the Victorian based Men’s Counselling and Accommodation Support Service offering free confidential counselling, referral, and support services.

The Director Opportunity

No to Violence is seeking a First Nations Board Director who will champion the purpose, vision, values, and strategic priorities of the organisation.

As part of fulfilling the strategic objectives of the organisation, we are particularly seeking people with demonstrated experience in policy matters relating to First Nations peoples. In addition, skills in organisational culture, fundraising and business development and ICT strategy and cybersecurity would be well regarded.

If you are passionate about ending male family violence and think you can bring value to our Board, we would love to hear from you. We particularly welcome First Nations people, members of LGBTQI communities, people with a disability, and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.

Your commitment to ending gender-based violence is essential.
