About the role:

Reporting into the Manager of Programs and Operations, the Programs Officer will support the effective operations and delivery of the MATES program and initiatives, through developing and administering program policies, procedures, and resources, as well as day-to-day project planning and support activities. This includes research and data management, reporting on program outcomes, maintaining stakeholder and service provider relationships and developing program resources.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Research Team to assist with program outcomes reporting, data collection and analysis, including quantitative and qualitative research projects.
• Develop and maintain program policies and procedures for compliance, efficiency, and risk management.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency.
• Project management implementation and day-to-day administration of support tools.
• Oversee service provision, especially from IT service providers, EAP services, and outsourced HR.
• Provide information and support to stakeholders and business leaders as needed.
• During peak periods support administration staff with administration and data entry duties.

Your skills and attributes:

• Previous experience in program/ project planning with a high level of stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong research, data management and analytical skills.
• Experience with content or thematic analysis of qualitative and quantitative data.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel for data analysis and Word for reporting and documentation.
• Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Enjoys working on a variety of projects and activities across an organisation.
• Willingness to complete and pass a police check.
