• Up to $90,000 base salary + super

About the Role

You will be leading and supervising a team of 7 caseworkers, who manage multiple community outreach social support programs - Aged Care, Family and Domestic Violence, Homelessness and Emergency Boarding.

• Day to day operational oversight of social support programs & final decision making regarding programs and clients
• Provide insight and assistance in case management as required 
• Management of team including team meetings, one to ones, and performance reviews
• Support Grants Committee to seek out opportunities to increase funding and grow the programs and services
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment through effective communication and collaboration

What you bring

A passion for providing oversight and leadership to a team delivering exceptional case management to vulnerable populations.

• Background in social services, human services or similar
• Some experience in leading or managing a team
• An understanding or keen interest in animal welfare, and comfortable being around animals
• You are resilient, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills 
• Ability to encourage healthy work-life balance within a team and promote a positive workplace
