The Role - Senior Development Executive

Reporting to the Deputy Director of Development, the Senior Development Executive will be working in collaboration with the Development team to develop, implement, and manage the philanthropy fundraising strategy. You will manage a donor portfolio to qualify, nurture and cultivate donors from mid-level through to major gifts.

Responsibilities:

Mid Donors & Major Gifts

  • Design and implement the mid-level giving and stewardship strategy
  • Prospect, secure and steward relationships with donors new and engaged
  • Work closely with the Donor Communications Specialist to develop written proposals for donors and prospects.
  • Collaborate with the Development team to integrate mid-level donors into wider initiatives
  • Meet face-to-face and engage with prospects, donors and clinical staff regularly

Your Skills & Attributes

  • An ambitious and self-motivated relationship fundraiser with demonstrated experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a flexible and positive approach
  • Analytical, with a well-developed understanding of how to utilise data and CRMs to improve outcomes
  • Are passionate about the mission and vision of Chris O’Brien Lifehouse and can effectively articulate these values
  • Efficient with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
