You will feel supported by a small and friendly Fundraising Team and a wider network of colleagues around the country.

About the role:

Reporting to the Individual Giving Manager, this Supporter Engagement Outbound role supports the development and implementation of fundraising programs, appeals, campaigns and events through excellent supporter communication, strong tele-fundraising skills, accurate gift processing for financial reconciliation, quality donor care and general administrative support.

Responsibilities:

  • Making outbound calls to supporters for campaigns
  • Processing donations ensuring that the Customer Relationship Database (CRM) is updated in a timely manner
  • Delivering key areas of our welcome journey
  • Delivering key areas of our regular giving journey
  • Providing ad hoc support to the Supporter Engagement Team and/or CRM Project Team, as required
  • Understanding and delivering best practice supporter care and fundraising principles

Essential Criteria:

  • Eligibility to work in Australia
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an outbound call centre as a successful telephone fundraiser
  • Customer service experience with a strong systems and procedures focus
  • Comfortable with cold calling and supporter engagement
  • Strong data entry and database CRM experience
  • Intermediate level Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Please note that this role may require occasional Saturday work
