  • Base salary $97K pro rata plus super, salary packaging

As an AOD Youth Consultant, you'll support young people with AOD issues, providing treatment, case coordination, and advocacy. You'll work within a collaborative team to enhance services and make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • AOD Treatment: Provide specialised assessment, counselling, and outreach.
  • Case Coordination: Participate in care team and case planning.
  • Support: Identify additional needs and facilitate access to services.
  • Consultation: Offer expertise to professionals working with young people (12 to 17 years old).

What You Bring

  • Experience: AOD treatment experience with young people and families.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and the ability to manage priorities.
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in social work-related degree.

Requirements

  • Certificate IV in Drug and Alcohol or related degree, as per the 2004 minimum qualification strategy.
  • Valid WWCC and driver's license.
  • Criminal Records Check before employment.
  • Understanding of relevant legislation (Child Youth and Families Act 2005, Family Violence Protection Act 2008).
