The opportunity

The Senior Manager Complex Client Services will oversee all services in the South East Victoria Region for Intensive Case Management and the Adolescent Support Program, supporting children and young people at risk. This role manages a multidisciplinary team, including an Alcohol and Drug Youth Consultant, Mental Health Youth Intensive Support Clinician, and Specialist Family Violence Youth Consultant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality financial analysis and timely visibility of regional and program financial performance.
  • Build financial management capability within regions and programs through a business partnering model.
  • Support regions and programs in understanding performance, identifying improvement opportunities, and providing financial management education.
  • Be accountable for the planning, development, and timeliness of annual budgets and rolling forecasts for the allocated regions/central

Your Skills and Experience 

You are an experienced leader with a background in social work, human services, or a related field, with over three years of management experience in community services who holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field, and a management qualification is preferred.

You have expertise in statutory child protection, juvenile justice orders, and managing complex cases involving vulnerable children and young people. You understand relevant legislation and government policies, and you build positive relationships with government and community organisations. You are financially knowledgeable and manage budgets and expenses responsibly.
