Berry Street’s Residential Care Services offers accommodation and support to children and young people who are referred through the Child Protection system across six Residential Care homes based in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne. The Senior Manager has responsibility for all homes.
Berry Street operates a mixture of General Residential Care and Therapeutic Residential Care (TRCs) homes with up to four young people at a time. Berry Street utilises the Teaching Family Model, an Evidenced-Based model of Residential Care across its TRCs with plans to implement it across all homes over the coming years.
The Senior Manager is a member of the Northern Region Senior Management Team and as such plays an important role in providing leadership within the region, input into strategic direction and developing and nurturing partnerships.

The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor qualification within the Social Work, Psychology or Community Welfare or a related discipline. You will have leadership and management skills and experience, be client focused and have strong understanding of the Out of Home sector.
