The role of the Marketing and Communications Manager is fundamental to Be Well Co’s success. Your role is to build OTK’s brand awareness and generate new business leads. Our ideal candidate is a highly capable generalist, with a positive attitude and the ability to independently manage a busy workload within tight deadlines for a geographically diverse team.
Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities include:
- Developing, implementing and evaluating the Marketing and Communications Strategy in line with OTK’s wider strategy. Keeping abreast of market trends, industry and competitors.
- Regularly develop high-quality content delivered through multiple channels including website, blogs, social media (paid and earned),
- Assist in product design/”packaging” to meet market demands.
- Ensure the website is best-in-class; making improvements to design/layout where required, continually optimising SEO.
- Report on relevant metrics to the CEO, including lead generation, website traffic, SEO ranking, media reports and social media engagement.
- Actively seek PR/media opportunities, speaking engagements and grant applications where applicable.
- Design visual content as required. Design experience is not required- we currently use Canva.
- Generate leads, website traffic, socials engagement
- Work closely with relevant outsourced agencies as/when needed.
- Given we’re a social enterprise, the budget needs to be spent wisely, ensuring all investment has a sound rational/ROI.
- Development of assets
- As with all OTK team members, suggest ways to continuously improve the business.
- Reviewing documents, conducting industry research and other tasks are requested.
- Supporting the team on a range of tasks as/when needed.
Skills & Experience
Required:
- Qualifications in, or at least 5 years’ experience in marketing and / or communications.
- Experience with digital marketing, including social media and websites.
Preferred:
- B2B experience and/or experience in a social enterprise/startup/NFP
- Experience with Webflow, Hubspot, Canva and MailChimp.

Time/Resources:
- Hybrid role based out of our office in North Sydney.
- We’re a national team. We connect primarily online but come together for meetings in our Sydney office.
