Delivered by Beyond Blue, in collaboration with Early Childhood Australia and headspace, Be You is Australia’s national mental health in education initiative. It equips educators with knowledge, tools and resources to support the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people from birth to 18 years.

About this Position

The Digital Marketing Senior Adviser, Be You, is the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all Be You digital marketing channels, including, but not limited to, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), paid search, SEO and the front-end website.

The role oversees the management, from conception to execution, and evaluation of all Be You social media and paid marketing activities, with the objective of fostering engagement, driving conversions and aligning back to Be You strategic priorities and objectives.

Working closely with the Digital Marketing and Web Adviser, Be You, the Digital Marketing Senior Adviser, Be You, will delegate relevant work and help to up-skill in areas of focus, reporting any feedback to the Marketing and Brand Lead, Be You.

Fixed term to June 2026.

About you

To be successful you will hold:

  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline.
  • Experience managing multiple social media platforms for Be You, including LinkedIn, Facebook, X (Twitter) and Instagram.
  • Experience developing and designing creative, engaging social copy and assets and utilise trends to create content that builds our online audience.
  • Experience executing digital marketing activities/campaigns.
  • Understanding of web technologies, with proficiency in content management systems (CMS).
  • Experience and understanding of paid search, analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and SEO best practices.
  • Self-management skills and ability to support culture and actively participate in a high performing team.
  • Experience in overseeing contracts and procurement processes and effectively managing suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Experience working on multiple concurrent projects, including the working within defined objectives and priorities, planning and managing workload, and utilising systems to track progress.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to understand and adapt to different audiences, build productive relationships and support organisational change.
