About the organisation:
Established in 2017, Beyond DV is a Brisbane-based charity that provides long-term support for women and children as they rebuild their lives after domestic and family violence.
We deliver a range of unique recovery programs and other support services from our three existing Brisbane Centres (northside, westside and southside), as well as from our HOPE Hub at Westfield Carindale, where we offer support to all community members impacted by domestic violence/mental health.
Another strong focus of the organisation is Primary Prevention, through the provision of awareness sessions in the community and through the delivery of our Love&Learn Teen Relationship App.
Our small team of highly skilled, multi-talented and incredibly passionate professionals works very closely with clients and with each other to achieve successful outcomes, through a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach.
Beyond DV is a Founding Member of the Australian Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence Recovery Alliance.
