About The Role
This is an exciting new opportunity for an experienced, innovative and client-centered Senior Regional Services Hub Manager to lead our Mental Health, Counselling and Mediation teams within our Community and Mission Business Unit.
As the Senior Regional Service Hub Manager, you will be the driving force behind the effective and efficient delivery of critical programs and services. You will manage both clinical and administrative functions, ensuring the highest standards of service, continuous improvement, and exceptional client outcomes.
This senior leadership position will require you to balance operational oversight with strategic vision, empowering your team to achieve excellence. Programs and services may include but are not limited to Family and Relationship Services, Family Relationship Centres, Family Law Counselling, Targeted Early Intervention Services, Men's Behaviour Change Programs, Youth related programs, Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence related programs and Family and Community Mental Health Support Services.
This is a Permanent Full-Time role that can be based at our Wollongong or Nowra office.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in a senior management role within service delivery, preferably in the social services, health, or community sector.
- Expertise in managing multi-disciplinary teams and a deep understanding of the challenges in delivering services to diverse client groups, including populations made vulnerable by circumstances like relationship breakdown, mental ill health, domestic and family violence.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams towards achieving strategic, client centered objectives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
- A results for clients mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement and achieving measurable outcomes.
- A solid understanding of relevant programs, including but not limited to Family and Relationship Services, Mental Health Services and Domestic Violence-related services.
Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Client - Service Delivery: Oversee the Service Hub to ensure effective service delivery for all programs and services, by consistently meeting or exceeding service delivery targets and key performance indicators. As a key member of the Senior Leadership team, your focus would be on continuous improvement in workforce and client experience.
- Leadership - Staff: Lead and engage staff to foster effective teamwork and set clear expectations, recognising achievements, and supporting staff growth in their roles and careers. Exhibit professional leadership aligned with the organization's Christian vision, mission, and values.
- Stakeholder Engagement: As part of the Leadership team, develop and manage external and internal stakeholder. Ensures collaborative engagement and effective communication, compliance, and reporting.
- Execution of strategic and operational objectives: In partnership with the leadership team, plan towards executing strategic and operational objectives. Being responsible and accountable for the designated budgeting of the program in the region.
Requirements:
- Relevant Degree qualifications and 7+ years' experience in Counselling, Social Work, Psychology, Family Dispute Resolution or equivalent.
- A hands-on manager and leader, with demonstrated experience including the coaching, mentoring, and training of your team.
- Leadership and relational skills, with a desire to support high performance teams and adopt a proactive attitude.
- Demonstrated business development skills and experience
- Demonstrated experience in financial and stakeholder management.
- Current unrestricted driver's licence and a willingness to drive between sites as required.
- Current WWCC, National Police Check and appropriate peak body registration.
