This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of strategic and operational planning processes to ensure alignment with BirdLife Australia’s strategic objectives. The successful candidate will work with internal and external stakeholders to lead initiatives ranging from strategic and operational planning and implementation, performance management, risk management, stakeholder engagement, team leadership and budget management.
To be successful in this role, you will bring strong leadership, organisational planning and team management skills, with demonstrated experience in developing and implementing strategic and business planning processes.
Deep experience in budgeting, reporting and financial planning for business planning purposes is essential.
Experience in risk management and performance management systems within the not-for-profit sector, particularly in conservation or environmental organisations is desirable, as are relevant post-graduate qualifications with at least five years’ experience.
This is a Maximum Term part-time position (0.8 FTE), available for two years.
Please note, that this is a hybrid position working in a home-based environment and in the national office in Carlton, Victoria.
