The opportunity

The Supporter Care Admin is the first point of contact for BirdLife’s supporters and general public. This casual role is expected to deliver professional supporter care services including the processing of donations, sales, and memberships. With excellent skills in privacy compliance, data integrity handling, and attention to detail, this role contributes to BirdLife’s overall success in generating significant donor and sales income, and high-quality supporter engagement experience.

To be successful in this role, you will have relevant experience working in a data processing/customer care role. You will have excellent customer service skills and telephone manner, including the ability to discuss and resolve queries and complaints with supporters. Previous experience working or volunteering with a member-based, not-for-profit conservation organisation will be highly regarded. An understanding of the role of fundraising and engagement for not-for-profits is desirable.

What you need to know

This is a short-term, full-time position (1.0 FTE) available until mid-January 2025. Part-time casual options may be considered for the right candidate. Please note, that this is a hybrid position working in a home-based environment and in the national office in Carlton, Victoria.
