About the Role

The Registered Nurse - Team Lead is to assist the Senior RN with their duties providing leadership and support to RangeCare's team of RNs and Support Workers. This position also provides a range of domiciliary nursing services to the elderly and people with a disability. The position is required to undertake a clinical advisory role in relation to service delivery staff employed by the organisation. Available for some weekend work (roster is approx. 1 in every 6 weekends) as well as availability to travel to Gympie if necessary on occasions. 

Duties

Below are some of the duties and responsibilities but are not exhaustive:

• Assists the Senior RN by providing leadership and support to the RN and Care Support Worker (CSW) Teams;
• Undertakes client assessments when necessary; 
• Provides regular domiciliary nursing services in accordance with hours allocated in the Care Plan, and additional services as needed in response to the health needs of individuals;
• Provides Case Management services to those clients whose complexity of care needs require such services;
• Acts as a client advocate with other service providers when required.
