This role will suit an enthusiastic, detail orientated and data loving individual who understands the power of data and insights to maximise fundraising success.
You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management, maintenance and optimisation of our fundraising database and associated systems. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and security of our donor data as well as maximising the efficiency and effectiveness of our fundraising efforts.

This is a full-time position and whilst our office is based in Newcastle, we will consider remote or hybrid working arrangements for the right candidate. Reporting to the Data Strategy, Insights and Services Manager, the primary responsibilities will include:
- Maintain the CRM (Raisers Edge 7) including importing and exporting data, configuration, and integrations with customized system add-ons.
- Maintain, update, document and communicate business rules and procedures that comply with best practices in data management.
- Provide support and training to staff on the effective use of the CRM.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to foster a data-driven approach to fundraising processes and decision making.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to support key data projects including process automation and implementation, and CRM upgrades.
- Assist the Fundraising Data Manager with reporting, analytics and dashboard maintenance as required.
- Assist Supporter Care Team with recurring tasks including Regular Giving payment runs, donation processing and receipting.
ABOUT YOU
Our ideal candidate will have:
- A keen drive for a career in data management and analytics
- A passion to creatively identify, think, innovate and proactively tackle data and process issues.
- Technical understanding of database structures and programming languages, for example SQL, Python or R.
- Previous experience in database management, data extraction and data analysis within a fundraising environment.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in IT, business or other relevant discipline and/or demonstrable relevant experience and skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including technical developers, IT teams, project managers and system users.
