We're looking for a senior leader with expertise in a housing delivery services, to join Bridge's Leadership Team. The Regional Manager, Central reports into the Chief Operating Officer and plays a key role in shaping the strategic direction of Bridge's frontline housing services, ensuring their region provides excellence to Bridge customers, and approaching housing services with an innovative lens.

Your Purpose
The Regional Manager, Central is one of four Regional Managers reporting into the Chief Operating Officer. Together, the Regional Managers deliver upon Bridge Housing’s strategic goals by:
- Ensuring their portfolio provides high-quality service delivery that meets key performance indicators and regulatory obligations,
- Provide senior leadership and subject matter expertise to Team Leaders to successfully manage escalations where required and drive high standards of operational performance throughout the region
- Developing and implementing innovative housing policies, service delivery models and key partnerships which align with the overall direction of Bridge Housing’s strategic goals.
The portfolio of the Regional Manager, Central has three key areas of responsibility:
- Pathways focus on housing assistance and allocations; and
- Housing, focus on sustaining tenancies; and the
- Senior Housing Manager who has a practical operational and coaching focus to ensure consistently high service delivery of tenancy management?
Role Outcomes
- Support the Executive Board to deliver the Bridge Housing strategic and annual business plans, including submission of bi-monthly reporting.
- Shape and influence Bridge Housing’s strategic direction in relation to housing services by providing expert advice to the Executive Board, creating and implementing innovative housing policies, and delivering key strategic projects.
- Accountable for ensuring adherence to the Management Operating System (MOS) to deliver multi-faceted, complex corporate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for staff within the portfolio.
- Work closely with the Regional Manager, North to set the strategic directions and priorities of the Senior Housing Managers, to ensure they are working consistently across the regions.
- Oversee the delivery of social housing access and tenancy management services in the Central region, effectively managing escalations where appropriate and required.
- Develop and maintain strong networks, strategic partnerships and service level agreements with relevant services that improve outcomes for customers.
- Ensure effective corporate governance by driving the delivery of the Central region housing services and programs against corporate KPIs and the provision of timely and accurate reporting.
- Ensure consistent high quality service delivery in the Central Region by managing adherence to the Customer Service Standards, operational and corporate policy and effective complaints and appeals management.
- Drive quality service delivery through the development and implementation of services and programs that grow tenant satisfaction, sustain tenancies and support community engagement.
- Ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations affecting the sector and ensuring the WHS, safety and risk frameworks are implemented and maintained throughout the Central region.
- Assist in driving company culture and performance through leadership practices that attract and retain high quality staff, manage performance and develop employee capability.
- Increase the profile and reputation of Bridge Housing by building strategic networks and partnerships, attending industry forums and being an active member of the community housing sector.
Who are we looking for?
You will have:
- Demonstrated experience of working in the community housing sector, government or social services sector.
- Deep understanding of Residential Tenancy Agreement, NCAT and best practice tenancy management, housing allocation processes, and related legislation.
- Experience in management and resolution of complex housing-related escalations at a team or service level.
- Experience in designing, implementing and evaluating service delivery models that are responsive to tenant and community needs.
- Experience in contributing to or leading strategic planning processes within areas of service delivery or operational efficiency.
- Demonstrated leadership skills at a senior management level and ability to build and maintain high performing teams.
- Ability to manage staff and resources in line with operational and performance targets.
- Ability to analyse data and trends to inform decision making and improve service delivery outcomes.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications.
