Work with a small family, in the family's home in Noosaville. Support Workers are needed long term to play an integral part in helping to run a household. Our delightful six-year-old little boy has cerebral palsy but doesn't let that stop him from enjoying life to the full. He is a happy go lucky little boy, who loves socialising with his peers or his lovely support workers. He has an equally adorable twin brother who he loves to bits.
We are looking for quiet, conscientious workers.
On the job training will teach you everything you need to know, as the family likes things done in a particular way.
A level of maturity and understanding of the family’s privacy, as well as empathy for their situation is needed.
A high standard of hygiene and organisation needs to be upheld at all times.
This family has a lot going on, medically and emotionally. Maturity to understand and empathise are vital skills.
The family are looking for some people to help them through daily ups and downs.
All employees will start work initially with domestic duties, taking on more responsibilities as you show your commitment and complete tasks as required.
The aim is for you to work towards being a support worker for our son and family, however there is a lot to learn about us, and a lot of trust to build so you won’t be doing support worker tasks straight away.
Hours of work range between 6am - 8pm. Shifts can vary in time between 1 hour and 5 hours, with potential split shifts, so the position will suit someone who lives close to Noosaville.
