We are seeking a compassionate and efficient Administration Assistant to join our Supported Independent Living (SIL) team in Disability Services! This is a full-time position that will start by supporting SIL services in Belmont and Carlisle and will transition to support services in Piara Waters and Warnbro.

This is an exciting opportunity to be engaged in supporting our staff transitioning to the new facility. The successful candidate will provide efficient and effective administration support to the operations of Supported Independent Living, with a focus on administration systems and processes.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Previous administration experience and ability to accurately input data with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent computer skills including experience in use of Microsoft Office applications, customer database systems, and invoice processing.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills that builds and develops teamwork and establishes successful working relationships with stakeholders.
  • Outstanding customer service skills and clear understanding of individual privacy and confidentiality requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise tasks, work effectively under pressure, problem solve, and meet deadlines.
  • Current Western Experience working in the disability or aged care sector (desirable).

Selection Criteria:

Essential

  • Do you have a National Police Certificate that is less than 12 months old OR are you willing to obtain one?
  • Do you have an up to date vaccination against influenza or are you willing to obtain?
  • Have you had experience working as an Administrative Assistant?

Desirable:

  • Do you have any experience working in Disability Services?

You will also possess:

  • A satisfactory National Police Clearance that is less than 12 months old
  • A satisfactory NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance
  • Evidence of up-to-date flu and COVID-19 vaccinations
