Are you a skilled mental health professional passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? As our Senior Mental Health Clinician, you’ll deliver high-quality, evidence-based interventions within the headspace stepped care model, supporting youth facing mild to moderate mental health challenges. This role blends clinical work with mentorship, guiding a multidisciplinary team to deliver culturally inclusive, youth-centered services that truly make an impact.
Alongside managing a diverse caseload, you’ll actively contribute to staff training, clinical supervision, and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring services meet the highest standards. Your work will shape pathways for staff development and support student growth, all while fostering collaboration with key stakeholders across the region. Demonstrated experience and advanced skills in delivering mental health interventions in a range of mental health settings to young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health presentations.
Advanced clinical skills in managing young people at risk, including suicide and violence risks.
Demonstrated experience in the provision of clinical supervision and skill development, including secondary consultations.
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the appropriate legislation, case management practice, and the ability to adhere to policy and procedures.
Proven track record in building and maintaining effective working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
Essential
Current eligibility as an Allied Mental Health Professional to provide Medicare funded psychological therapies.
