Come and join our team in creating safer, healthier futures for children and families as the Team Leader - Child and Family Services!
As the Team Leader - Child and Family Services, you’ll oversee a dedicated team committed to enhancing the safety, stability, and well-being of children, young people, and families across Southwest Victoria. Leading the coordination and delivery of several essential programs, funded by the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH), you’ll directly impact lives through initiatives focused on early intervention, family reunification, and empowering youth toward positive outcomes.
This role requires a compassionate leader skilled in case management, in-home support, and family work, with a deep understanding of the legislative landscape surrounding child and family services. You’ll manage a caseload within the Integrated Family Services (IFS) suite, ensuring that each family receives tailored, responsive support. Key programs you’ll oversee include the Integrated Family Services Program, Adolescent Support, Finding Solutions, Targeted Care Packages, the Who's in Charge Program among others—all aimed at strengthening family dynamics and promoting safe, nurturing environments for young people.
You will also have supervision of the Family Preservation and Reunification Practitioner working closely with our partner agencies.
In this position, you’ll also work closely with Child Protection and various community partners, building individualised, innovative solutions for each family.
If you’re a proactive leader ready to make a difference through strategic program delivery and hands-on client support, we'd be keen to hear from you!
