We currently have an exciting opportunity available to join our headspace team in are new Hamilton location as a Youth Mental Health Worker.
In this role you will be instrumental in supporting young people through early intervention and youth-friendly models.
You will be responsible for the delivery of a range of evidence-based interventions that facilitate early help seeking behaviour and seamless access to early intervention health and wellbeing services across the headspace four core service platforms of mental health; physical and sexual health; alcohol and other drugs; and vocational and educational assistance.
Our Youth Mental Health Worker will involve working closely with young people and their families to build resilience and improve mental health outcomes. Through creative, client-focused approaches, you’ll provide psychological therapy, facilitate access to services, and promote early help-seeking behaviours. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of young people in our community.
The successful candidate will be based in Hamilton, with the expectation of regular travel during work hours to our regional locations.
