Intake and Booking Team Leader (Western Melbourne Area)

We're seeking an enthusiastic Intake and Booking Team Leader to join our dedicated NDIS Customer Service TeamThis role involves managing and meeting Partner in the Community contract deliverables of NDIS Services within the Brotherhood of St Laurence (BSL) Disability Services Division.

  • Location: Western Melbourne Area – based at our BSL NDIS Moonee Valley & Melbourne office (Niddrie, VIC 3041).
  • Salary: A competitive remuneration package ranging from $87,886.87 - $94,565.36 per annum + 11.5% superannuation.
  • Type of Employment: Maximum-Term (until 30 June 2025), full-time (38-40 hours per week).

ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE

As an Intake and Booking Team Leader, your role is a pivotal function of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). While overseeing the management and coordination of the Intake and Bookings Team, you will be responsible for coordinating and meeting Partner in the Community contract deliverables of NDIS Services in defined geographical areas.

As an Intake and Bookings Team Leader, you will play a critical role in ensuring timely, efficient, and responsive service provision to BSLs NDIS participants, customers, and the community. Additionally, as necessary, this position screens participant records, ensuring that all relevant participant/family/carers information is correct, current, and available.

ABOUT YOU

We are seeking applicants who have: 

  • Highly developed administrative and time management skills
  • Proven experience leading and managing a productive team environment that may require staff to pivot from one task to another, flexibly and with short notice
  • Lived experience with disability or awareness of the impact of existing or acquired disability upon individuals, families, carers and the community
  • Highly developed communication, listening and relationship building skills
  • Experience in working alongside community towards common goals
  • Confidence using a variety of computer programs and equipment and ability to enter information accurately
  • Experience with highly accountable processes that are subject to external review
