Seeking experienced, committed Board Members whose track records demonstrate an ability to help take a rapidly growing organisation to its next level.
We are a Housing, Support and Community Intervention service, providing support to children and young people aged between 9 and 24. Our services include:
Burdekin is seeking to recruit a number of new Board Members who can support the organisation to realise its vision and mission at a time of significant growth.
Evolving organically, the organisation has doubled in size in the past three years, attained greater maturity and taken positive steps to strengthen its governance.
To ensure that the impending transition to the next level can be achieved seamlessly, Burdekin is now seeking the commitment of experienced Board Members – those with expert governance skills and demonstrated success in helping guide a growing business to the next level and implement its strategic plan.
Highly valued would be:
Burdekin is seeking a minimum three year commitment from those with the time, capacity and energy to lead the organisation on the next stage of its journey.
The Burdekin Board meets eight times a year on weeknights and the two Board Committees meet quarterly normally on weekdays.
