Baptist World Aid Australia is an international Christian development organisation working in 24 countries. We partner with like-minded organisations overseas to implement community development and disaster projects that empower communities to overcome poverty. Last year, our work impacted close to 900,000 people.
When you join Baptist World Aid, you’ll become part of a rich, over 60-year history. As a valued member of our team, you’ll be integral to achieving our mission of helping Australians tackle the injustice of global poverty.
We’re looking for someone who is team orientated, skilled in project management, with experience in marketing and a desire to grow their career in fundraising, acquisition and/or retention marketing.
This is a parental leave contract role (0.6FTE) role and will report to the Regular Giving Team Lead to coordinate income maximising projects, produce retention focused communications and provide administrative support for Baptist World Aid’s regular giving portfolio including Child Sponsorship. Alongside a dynamic team, you’ll be responsible for delivering ongoing growth and retention activities to our regular giving donors—upwards of 6,000 donors raising a total of $4.8 million per year.
You’ll work with key stakeholders to implement projects like the annual Christmas letter writing activity for Child Sponsors and oversee the quality of child partner information as it comes from the field.
You’ll also coordinate the production of impact reports and change stories across all our regular giving products designed to inspire our Regular Givers with the transformative power of their donations. You’ll collaborate closely with our International Programs, Supporter Engagement and Marketing teams to achieve results and help care for and communicate with our Regular Givers.
You’ll be a self-motivated individual, who is a team player, and an innovator looking for the right role to harness your unique qualities.

You may also have experience in project management or want to gain a deeper knowledge of fundraising and retention marketing. You’re naturally excited about data driven trends and will gain satisfaction improving the supporter experience for our trusted and loyal donors. You enjoy the challenge of collaborating with other teams to achieve your goals and no job is too small for you. You want to use your skills and experience to pursue a career in the not-for-profit sector and contribute to a mission close to your heart.
