Brisbane Youth Service is a medium-sized incorporated association providing holistic responses to vulnerable young people (aged 12 – 25 years) and young families who are experiencing homelessness or are at-risk of becoming homeless.

The Opportunity

  • Administration Worker – Medical Clinic
  • Part time position until 30 December
  • 30.4 Hours/Fortnight

Are you a dynamic individual with a passion to support the operations of our medical clinic?

The Clinic Administration Worker will provide reception and administration support for the effective clinic operations of Brisbane Youth Service Health Clinic.

To undertake the Clinic Administration Worker role you will require a Certificate or Diploma in Administration, Business Studies or equivalent experience; have a current Queensland driver’s license and you must hold a current Working with Children Positive Notice (blue card).

Selection Criteria

To be successful in your application you will need to provide written responses to the following selection criteria:

  1. Understanding of and commitment to BYS vision, objectives, and practice framework.
  2. Demonstrated ability to work with Best Practice, My Health Record, MS Office products, and IT platforms that manage client medical appointments and information sharing across the organisation.
  3. Demonstrated capacity to undertake frontline reception duties, and admin duties including managing Medicare claims.
  4. Sound communication and interpersonal skills and a demonstrated capacity to interact positively with vulnerable people and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
